Complaints that Christmas has lost its true meaning are not new, says William Whyte
The Scottish Episcopal Church (SEC) is the Province of the Anglican Communion in Scotland. It has a strong and high profile in Scottish life, is diverse in character and has a presence across the whole country.
Our churches are situated in South Essex near the Thames Estuary and Southend Airport, with 2 good rail links to London.
We are at an exciting time in the life of our church as we look to deepen our commitment to evangelism and discipleship.
We need an Associate Vicar to lead the day-to-day ministry of our two churches with our Vicar, recently appointed as the Dean of Priority Communities, alongside his parish role.
We are seeking someone with the vision, drive and experience to take this church with huge potential into its future.
