HIGHLIGHT: Remembrance Sunday: The Cenotaph David Dimbleby presents live coverage from Whitehall, including the two minutes’ silence at 11am.

TELEVISION: Saturday 9pm (BBC1) Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance The King and Queen are at the Albert Hall for the annual festival.

Sunday 1.15pm (BBC1) Songs of Praise Katherine Jenkins marks Remembrance Sunday at RAF Cranwell, in Lincolnshire.

Monday 10.30pm (BBC4) Eyewitness to History: Norma Percy on the Fifty Years War The filmmaker looks back on her 1998 documentary series The Fifty Years War: Israel and the Arabs, which analysed the conflict’s origins.

10.45pm (ITV1) A Time to Die The stories of five people who want the right to die at the time of their choice.

11.05pm (C4) The Hunt for Ukraine’s Stolen Children: Dispatches Investigators try to trace children who disappeared from orphanages and schools during the Russian occupation.

 

RADIO: Friday, 11.30am (World Service) Heart and Soul Linda Pressly meets Christians who both accept, and struggle with, the Church’s teachings on sexuality.

Sunday 8.10am (R4) Sunday Worship A service of remembrance from Urban Crofters, a church in Cardiff, led by Dai and Cath Woolridge, and featuring the worship group Sound of Wales.

3pm (R3) Choral Evensong A repeat of this week’s service from St Giles Cripplegate, London, recorded on 29 June.

Wednesday 4pm (R3) Choral Evensong Live from Hereford Cathedral.
