Monday 9pm (BBC1) Rose Ayling-Ellis: Signs for change The actress, deaf since birth, asks whether society is allowing equality between the deaf and hearing worlds.

 

RADIO: Friday 11.30am (World Service) Heart and Soul The story of Barbara Blake-Hannah, the UK’s first black news reporter, who returned to Jamaica eight years after coming over in the Windrush generation.

Sunday 8.10am (R4) Sunday Worship A National Service of Thanksgiving from Southwark Cathedral, marking the 75th anniversary of the arrival in the UK of HMT Empire Windrush.

1.30pm (R4 FM) The Archbishop Interviews Archbishop Welby’s guest is the singer and songwriter, and former choirboy, Nick Cave (4/6).

3pm (R3) Choral Evensong A repeat of this week’s live service from Ely Cathedral.

Monday 11am (R4 FM) Windrush: A family divided Clive Myrie concludes the critical evaluation of the legacy of Windrush with a panel discussion (4/6).

Wednesday 4pm (R3) Choral Evensong From St Peter’s Collegiate Church, Wolverhampton, on the Eve of St Peter the Apostle, recorded on 3 June.
